Job: House Keeping Supervisor Mid Level

 JOB SUMMARY

The primary role of this position is to supervise, train and work alongside the staff to ensure and maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for Guest’s. Successful candidates is expected to liaise with the General Manager.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
  • Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments
  • Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies
  • Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
  • Examines building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management
  • Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

·              Attention to detail and skilled organization

·              Relevance experience in the hospitality sector, preferably supervisory roles

·              Strong supervisory skills, ability to designate responsibilities

·              Time management

·              Management of material resources

·              Excellent verbal and written communication skills
